Repairs may vary from a single fracture, delaminated stone, fabricating missing pieces, to multiple breaks within the stone, resembling a jigsaw puzzle. These repairs are performed with a variety of clamps, shims, epoxies, mortars, infill materials, coloring etc. The skill level of the conservator will determine the quality and longevity of the repair.
